Gallowglass Pictures is a Dublin based international TV company, formed in 1998 by Eamon McElwee.
In a short time, the company has proven its ability to produce quality international documentaries, series, corporate videos and multimedia, winning international awards. Our key personnel have 40 years combined experience of all aspects of electronic media production.
Gallowglass also
provides production services and equipment rental to visiting international
productions.

International
Documentary
The company's first international documentary
back in 1998, "From Clare to Here" on the Irish traditional
fiddle-player virtuoso Martin Hayes was funded by NVC Arts(UK), MEDIA II(Europe)
and RTE(Irl). It was screened in Ireland, USA, UK, China, Australia, Canada,
Alaska and on In-flight TV.
The company has
since developed a slate of international documentary
singles and series in a variety of genres and formats, currently in development
& production.
Gallowglass is working with many international TV funders,
distributors and broadcasting companies.
Eamon McElwee is an award winning, managing and
creative director. Eamon has established international alliances for the company
through trade visits to TV markets, festivals and documentary workshops around
the world. Gallowglass has also developed a project slate to appeal internationally.
